What is included?

(1) French Tuition
Eurolingua lessons are designed to help students speak with greater fluency. They provide a balance between grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and listening comprehension and writing skills. Typical activities designed for young learners encourage fun while learning:

(2) Host Family Accommodation
Eurolingua places 2 students per family on half-board basis. This enables rapid integration into family life and safety in terms of travelling to and from school. Students benefit from first hand experience of the language and culture through constant exposure to native speakers and total immersion in day-to-day family life. All families have been inspected by a Eurolingua representative for:

• Condition of the home
• Hygiene and cleanliness (toilets and bed linen checked)
• Comfort (size of room, bedside table, desk, wardrobe)
• Location – safety of area and accessibility
• Distance from school
• Ease of public transport to and from school
• Welcome given to students
• Availability and care for student welfare
• Hosts are visited in order to maintain quality

(3) Activity Programme
The Eurolingua activity programme is designed to consolidate learning and provide a balance of cultural and sporting activities and visits to appeal to all participants. Excursions and activities will be introduced in class and followed up by reviews and questionnaires. This encourages students to use their French naturally outside the classroom and develops an awareness of everyday French life. A variety of special theme programmes is also available.
