Hobbies and Interests
My partner is a surf nut and has had a lot of fun teaching our Japanese and Korean visitors to surf. We both enjoy the outdoor activities that our beautiful Sunshine Coast offers and regularly enjoy a day on a boat on the Noosa river. We have two four wheel drive vehicles and often pack up the family for a few days camping on the local beaches. Our children are involved in dance groups and sporting clubs and our international visitors have always enjoyed watching the children participate in their interests
Excursions and Local Attractions
I live on the beautiful Sunshine Coast of Australia which is a popular tourist spot with many attractions. These include the famous Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin), Underwater World, Eumundi Markets, Noosa beaches and riverways, North Shore beach trips with 4wd, Montville tourist village, yandina ginger factory and many more!
Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
A very modern, five bedroom, two bathroom home in the popular tourist resort town of Noosa, Queensland, Australia. Noosa is renowned for it's beaches and our house is within 5 minutes walk of one of the most beautiful beaches on the coast. We are a 20 minute walk into the main town and can supply bikes for those keen to ride. For those a little less energetic, we have a bus stop within a 2 minute walk with regular services to all coastal attractions. Noosa is also famous for it cosmopolitan restaurants, many of which allow you to enjoy coffee, drinks or food while you watch the dolphins skimming through the waves on the beach.
Description of the student's room and contents I have two rooms available for students at any time. Each room has a double bed (one room has double bed and single bed bunked above). Both rooms have a television and a desk and wardrobes with drawers. Both rooms are at one end of the house, with a shared bathroom for the two rooms. The other end of the house has a bathroom for the family members. The rooms are bright and cheerful with ceiling fans for the summer months. The student has a private bathroom if there is only one student residing with us.
