Hobbies and Interests
Sports: tennis, swimming and working out on the Universal Gym. recreational basketball in the winter and soccer Tuesdays and Thursdays. Mountain biking - recently cycled in the Southern Philippines. Playing recreational soccer, basketball, tennis and mountain biking. I enjoy reading and writing travel journals. My daily activities usually include a work out at the Gym/Health Club. Around the garden I grow different vegetables but my favourite is red hot chilli peppers. I also cook a variety of ethnic meals, from Filipino to Italian.

Excursions and Local Attractions
Point Roberts, in the USA is only 10-15 minutes from Ladner. In Vancouver a sample of activities might include summer Theater Under-the-Stars (Shakespearian plays acted on an outdoor stage) in one of the nicest urban parks, Stanley Park. A hike on the local mountains such as the Grouse Grind could be in order for those that want to test their fitness level. A stroll through Gastown might find one at the door of one of Vancouver’s story museums, a theaterical presentation of British Columbia’s history.

Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
Located in the Municipality of Delta, locally referred to as Ladner. A rather tranquille residential community, Ladner is linked to the city of Richmond by the Massey Tunnel, under the Fraser River.
Situated near Mountain View Park, the 2-storey house has an attached sun deck accessible from the 2nd floor level. It occupies a large corner plot with fruit trees such as pear, fig and dwarf walnut. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 washrooms, up and down living rooms and 1 kitchen. There is a fireplace on each of the floors.

I have access to a local Health Club with guest privileges - includes Tennis Courts, Swimming Pool and a Universal Gym. Outdoor Tennis Courts are just a few minutes from my home at Mountain View Park.
For lovers of natural habitats, Burns Bog is very near. It is a 10,000 acre Bog in East Ladner preserved by the Burns Bog Preservation Society. It is nicknamed the Lungs of Vancouver as the bog acts as a biological filter, helping to clean the surrounding air.
