Hobbies and Interests
Outdoors, walking, bike riding, sightseeing swimming and fishing. We like walking in the wooded areas and fishing in the lakes. We like experimenting with new recipes cooking and baking. We like the sea side and swimming. We like the cinemas and we go sight seeing whenever there are summer festivals on.

1/2 hour drive, Blarney Castle, Kinsale, Cork City, I am originally from West Cork, famous towns are Bantry, Glengarriffe, Garnish Island, Clonakilty. Killarney is within 1 hour drive with likes , historical sites, and scenic drives. We also have Lee Valley Golf Club nearby, horse riding, leisure complexes, tennis, cinemas in Ballincollig and theatres in Cork city, the European capital of Culture this year. The Ring of kerry and West Cork are within a days driving. Sandy beaches and surfing are 20 miles away in Inchadoney or Kinsale.

We live 20 miles from Cork city centre, there is a bus service. We are 20 miles from the Cork Airport, which is near. We live in a quiet country location. It is mostly farmland. There are quiet country roads suitable and safe for walks and cycling. There are woods nearby for walking and fishing and picnicking. Our house is newly built on one acre of garden. There are golf clubs very near or horseriding. There are also Leisure complexes and a tennis village. We live in a very historic area, near the old castle of Carrigadrohid, on the banks of the Lee valley near Cork.
The student's room is a double bedroom with ensuite. It has a private bathroom. It has internet connection (wireless), a desk and lamp, a radio, a large wardrobe, and a double bed. There is another student's room available without private bathroom.
