Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
This beautiful Victorian School was converted 20 years ago into cosy private apartments. My home is warm and welcoming. I like to find out what food you like and then provide it (healthy food -not too fancy!) You will have your own bathroom, with shower, and there is plentiful supply of hot water. We have a private patio with a lovely view of Edinburgh Castle and this old building is surrounded by park land on all sides, which is great for walks. However, we are very central, a 5 minute bus ride or 15 minute walk will take you to the heart of Edinburgh. We are near the University so there are good pubs, clubs and restaurants nearby, as well as the Royal Commonwealth swimming pool, health centre and gym. We are 1O minutes from the railway station for anyone wanting to explore other parts of Scotland and there is a bus service which runs every 5 minutes from the railway station to the airport.
