The Institute
The German language school in Bamberg Germany is for serious adult learners and has been offering its own formula of effective teaching methods and tuition in Bamberg - "far from the madding crowd" - since 1995. Methodology

• A very detailed placement test
• We teach in small groups with 5 students on average and maximim 8
• 3 different types of courses to meet the needs of individual learners: group courses, combination courses (group plus One-to-One), One-to-One German courses
• Flexibility with regard to your choice of course during your stay - you can change courses
• You are taught by at least 2 trainers, giving you the advantage of their different styles, personalities and methods
• Emphasis is placed on developing your oral and written skills, and your grammar and listening comprehension
• During your stay, you will be in constant contact with your teachers and course trainers to continually optimise your course
• We use diverse and creative teaching material: both accredited school books as well as our own authentic material
• You will find experienced and qualified native teachers who are also ready listeners after class is over
• We offer at least 3 inclusive leisure activities per week. This way, you will continue improving your German even after class is over
• After your course we offer online support for your continuous private studies (E-learning)
• Topical Seminars - optional seminars addressing different subjects
• Last but not least - good organization, a friendly and open-minded atmosphere, intensive German training and lots of fun

Programmes

• Intensive 2-week Course: 20 hours of instruction per week in a group ranging from 4 to a maximum of 8 students
• Intensive Plus Course: 20 hours of instruction per week in a group ranging from 4 to a maximum of 8 students, PLUS 2,4,6,8 or 10 hours of one-on-one lessons per week
• Super Intensive Course: 30 hours of instruction per week in a group ranging from 4 to a maximum of 8 students

Accommodation
Various accommodation options are available including your own equipped studio apartment in the centre of Bamberg, Hotel or Guest House; Single room in a shared self-catering apartment with a German your age from 20 to 60 years; Single room in a family home with breakfast or half-board.

Activities
We offer at least 3 inclusive leisure activities per week during which you will meet the participants from other courses and many local friends of the German language school in Bamberg. 

Travelling to Bamberg
Flight: Nuremberg is one hour away by train, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart 2.5 hours. A private pick-up service can be arranged from all airports in Germany.
