SP-Cordoba(bedroom)100.jpgAccommodation, Facilities and Local Area
A marvellous traditional house that belongs to Cristina, a good friend of Ana Maria - your Eurolingua tutor. With a big garden, swimming-pool, a terrace and all modern conveniences. It offers a bedroom with private bathroom and a balcony to the garden. Situated in an old and tranquil part of Cordoba, with its white-washed houses, old churches and cobbled plazas and patios, just 10 minutes walking-distance from the town-centre and the more touristy parts of town.

Córdoba is rich in artistic and historical treasures, with a unique blend of cultures as diverse as Roman, Jewish, Arabic and Christian. A large part of the Old Town has been declared " Heritage of Mankind" by UNESCO. It also offers hiking in the 'sierras' around the town and in the many nearby Nature Reserves. It is well communicated with Seville (train: 40 minutes), Madrid (train: 2 hours) and Granada. The province has SP-Cordoba(computer)175.jpgmany places of interest to visit and enjoys a warm sunny climate, even in winter.

Semana Santa (Holy Week) in Cordoba is among Spain's most spectacular. May offers various colourful 'fiestas' such as 'The May Crosses', 'The Patio Competition' and the local 'fería'.
