Personalised one-to-one Italian tuition, learning and living on a full-board basis in your Eurolingua Tutor's own private residence and learning at your own rhythm, pace and level, meeting friends, neighbours and professional colleagues etc.    

You share meals and all aspects of social and cultural life as part of your teacher’s family, including local trips and excursions. Formal Italian lessons are structured around your own subjects of interest for 15, 20 or 25 hours per week, scheduled at the times that suit you best. This leaves plenty of time for your own independent study, activity and tourism and to enjoy a first-hand experience of the real language and lifestyle. 

These unique Eurolingua One-to-One Italian Homestay programmes are available at any time of year and are suitable for students of any age (16 - 75 years) and any language level (beginner to advanced).  Ideal for personal interest, business, travel or examination revision purposes.  

All Eurolingua Tutors are fully-qualified teachers and native speakers, experienced in teaching their mother tongue as a foreign language. 

	ACQUI TERME (Piemonte): lies in the heart of the Turin-Genoa-Milan area, in a rare and wonderful Monferrato landscape "rejoicing with castles and vineyards" according to the poet Carducci. The attractions are diverse: thermal baths, wine and food, outstanding cultural and historical heritage, together with tourism dedicated to sports and hiking. Acqui’s thermal baths, and their excellent therapeutic properties, were already well known in Roman times. 	BORGOMANERO (Novara, Piemonte): the town in crossed by a small river so there are also three bridges (one is called the Painters’ Bridge for its beauty). The area surrounding the town is very beautiful. Orta and its lake are 10 km away. It is a real pearl of romanticism. The water is clean and we can have refreshing swimming in the summer. Arona, on Lake Maggiore, is 11 km away. The three islands are famous for their colours and scents. Lake of Orta and its characteristic island, Lake Maggiore where there are three wonderful islands of geographic, historical and cultural interest, Turin and Milan and their important castle, cathedral and museums. 	CATANIA (Sicily): Catania first, then to Siracusa, vulcano Etna, Taormina, Ragusa and Val di Noto (a Unesco world Eritage site) in other parts of Sicily. Catania is a baroque city and its historical centre was declared by Unesco a World Heritage site. It is in the center of eastern Sicily, so in 2/3 hours (or less) you can get to Taormina, Siracusa, Agrigento, Etna, Ragusa Ibla: it's the beautiful part of Sicily, mixing Greek temple with the incredible sea, the Vulcano Etna and the Greek theatre with lovely countryside. 	CATANZARO LIDO, Calabria Catanzaro Lido is a small town situated in Calabria in the deep south of Italy. Visit Squillace, Crotone, Stilo, Taverna, and many cities from the Greek and medieval age. Places of interest: the sea, la Sila. Calabria is the antique Magna Graecia the most famous localities to visit are: La Roccelletta, Capo Colonna, Crotone, Gerace, Locri, Tropea, Pizzo Calabro. 	FLORENCE (Toscana): we are a 15 minutes walk away from downtown and ten to the stadium, LeCure is surely one of the nicest Florence’s residential area. It is a pretty small borough but very lively and comfortable, all services, shops, bus stops, are 2 minutes away from my house. I like my house, it is big enough (90 square meters) and very elegantly furnished. The student's room is simple but has all facilities including fast speed internet and TV. 	MONTEGIORDANO MARINA (Calambria): In winter I live in Rome where I teach one-to-one lessons but I don't have accomodation. However, in summer I live in Montegiordano Marina, on the south coast, where I offer one-to-one homestays. We provide you with furnished bedroom and clean bed sheets. 	ORIAGO DI MIRA (near Venice): we live in a 4 bedroom house on the outskirts of Venice, only 15 minutes away by bus from this beautiful city, one of the safest cities in the world. 	OMEGNA (Verbania): Verbano-Cusio-Ossola is an area between two lakes, Maggiore and Orta and surrounded by mountains. It is a tourist centre, above all during spring and summer. The Cusio environment has the kind of landscape with the basic elements that make it different from other lake areas. Lake Orta is a pre-alpine lake that transgressively flows northwards, looking towards the mountains rather than the plain. In the middle of it there is a little island called S.Giulio Island. 	PESCARA (Adriatic Coast): Pescara is a very new and lively city and, thanks to the university and beach, is well known as a tourist centre. Located opposite Rome, along the shores of the Adriatc sea, it is a very enjoyable and pleasant town. I am sure that, besides learning Italian, you will have a positive and unforgettable life experience. 	PISA (Tuscany): I live on the hills in the outskirts of Pisa, in a beautiful location surrounded by trees and flowers. You can see the leaning tower from the garden. I have a big garden with olive trees and lots of flowers,the house is on one level, it has an entrance, living room-dining room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Outside the kitchen there is a veranda where we dine in the summer. The distance from downtown Pisa is 7 minutes by car; there is also a bus that takes you downtown, to the station, to the sea. 	RAVENNA (Emilia Romagna): close to both Florence and Venice for cultural excursions. Near the seaside, Ravenna is the ideal place for those who also enjoy nature, with lots of leisure attractions such as windsurfing, birdwatching, cycling. The property is located in a very green area, on the top floor of a set of apartments,  close to amenities and shops such as a newsagent, bakery, supermarkets, cafes, bank, pharmacy. 	REGGIO EMILIA (Emilia-Romagna): a study holiday in Reggio Emilia not only allows you to make local trips in the city and its surroundings but also day trips to other beautiful and famous Italian cities, rich in charme, art and history, such as Bologna, Parma, Ravenna, Verona and many others. I am a friendly and a hearty person, I like to see friends and I have many interests: going to the cinema, watching films at home, reading, going out with friends in haunts and restaurants of the city and of the surroundings, walking in the park and short trips during the weekend. 	ROME (Lazio): The apartment is located in a neighbourhood called Talenti, very nice, safe and with a big park. The main street is Via Ugo Ojetti, where there are many shops. There are good connections with the old centre. It is ideal place to learn the Italian language and Italian way of life. I offer a nice place to spend time and learn Italian and about the Italian way of life, in a professional and serious way. 	SAN MARTINO SULLA MARRUCCINA (Abruzzi): a villa in the centre of a small town close to the Majella National Park and halfway from the mountains and the sea. It is only 20 minutes by car from Pescara (a lively and interesting city) and its airport. My house has a big garden with lots of plants and trees. It is on two levels; there are an entrance, a living room, a dining room, 2 kitchens 6 bedrooms (each one with its bathroom) and a long balcony. 	SPINEA (Venezia): our house is quite big and surrounded by a garden with a small gym. Spinea, the town where live and it is quiet and nice. All kinds of shops can be found nearby and there is a library and a big park as well. Every 5 or 10 mins direct buses can take you to Venice's historical center in just 20 mins. There is a main station in Mestre - 10 mins by bus to Spinea. It's easy to reach many famous spots around Venice from our home. Tutor Profile and photos
	TRIESTE (Friuli-Venezia Giulia): my three year experience of teaching Italian in English Colleges and love for people and languages has made me chose to share my home with students of Italian. By living in Trieste you will be at only one hour from Ljubljana - the romantic capital of Slovenia, the fabulous Croatian sea resorts and the Giulian Alps. A two hour train journey will take you to Venice too. I will share with you Trieste, the Adriatic sea and Carso hills, the food, fun friends and family. 	URBINO (Marche): Urbino has a lot to offer: from the Ducal Palace, to the house of Raffaello Sanzio, to several Oratories and churches full of great and important pieces of art. Also Urbino surroundings are worth seeing: Pesaro (Gioacchino Rossini's birth place, Gradara (the fortress of which is said to be the one where Paolo and Francesca - the famous characters in Canto V of Dante's Inferno- fell in love, Fossombrone with interesting archeological sites, Urbania ... and the enchanted landscape of this beautiful area of the region "Marche".
