Hobbies and Interests
Teaching Italian cooking. I am a friendly and a hearty person, I like to see friends and I have many interests: going to the cinema, watching films at home, reading, going out with IT-ReggioEmilia(Cooking4)175.jpgfriends in haunts and restaurants of the city and of the surroundings, walking in the park and short trips during the weekend.

Excursions and Local Attractions
Of particular natural and historical interest is the Mathildic road, that takes its name from Mathilda Duchess of Canossa: medieval castles, fortresses and towers on top of hills that dominate gentle valleys. The most famous one is the Castle of Canossa (X century), the Castle of Carpineti, of Garzano of Rossena, of Bianello. Every year from May to September there are historical parades in medieval costume. The River Po, the main Italian river, flows for 20 kilometers through Reggio Emilia territory, offering beautiful landscapes and pictureque boat tours. In the city of Reggio Emilia, there are very important and beautifull theatres, many art galleries, exibitions, museums, old churces and monuments. Many shops of fashion and antiques, pubs and good restaurants. Lovers of agro-industrial culture may visit the Parmigiano Reggiano cheese factory, Lambrusco wineries and Balsamico vinegar factories. A study holiday in Reggio Emilia allows you not only to make local trips in the city and its surroundings but also day trips to other beautiful and famous Italian cities, rich in charme, art and history, such as Bologna, Parma, Ravenna, Verona and many others.
