Excursions and Attractions
Buenos Aires is a city full of life and culture, where you can enjoy a variety of museums, shows, theatre, cinema, restaurants, bars, flee-markets and hand cranfts fairs. Besides all these urban attractions, there are some beautiful spots where to get in touch with nature, such as Costanera Sur, where you can have a walk to the Rio de la Plata, the Bosques de Palermo or the amazing Delta of the Rio Parana, which despite being just 30 min from Buenos Aires, will make you experience another environment, with its islands, vegetation and Amazonas-like river Parana. Besides Buenos Aires, Argentina offers beautiful different regions to discover: the desertic North-west, rain forests and waterfalls of Iguazu, lakes and woods of Patagonia, wine making region of Mendoza, and much more.
Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
Our home has 3 levels, the top one is a big terrace from where you can see La Boca football stadium. There is algo a back garden. The house is located 300 metres from Parque Lezama, a beautiful park where the popular barrio of San Telmo begins. La Boca and San Telmo are culturally very alive, with bars, restaurants, museums, markets, tango classes and much more. Buses to all areas of the city and tube is about 15 min walk from home.
Comments We sometimes rent other rooms to students, travelers or mainly people who come to Buenos Aires for a 1 or 2 month stay dedicated mainly to learn tango or Spanish. We lived many years in Europe, my husband is Slovene, and we enjoy very much meeting people and welcoming them in our home.
Student's room and contents Large room full of light and looking onto our back garden. There is the option of one or two single beds and a big wardrobe, a desk, lamp, internet connection, fan in the ceiling, etc. Any other necessary items could be arranged.
