Tips for students seeking to earn academic credit:
The American College is accredited by Northwest Association Colleges and Universities.

  • Upon completion of all course requirements, you will receive "letter" grade and official transcripts.
  • Students who desire their home university to accept these US college credits must seek approval of their home school before enrolment. This usually involves a "petition" form from the study abroad office or general advisement center. Your advisor should assist you with this petition application form.
  • At the time you present your petition form, you are also advised to present copies of the course syllabi from the American College along with any curriculum material from your Eurolingua Institute language immersion programme.
