Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
We are on a ridge above the centre of the town which means that we have spectacular views from both the front and back of the house. The house is over 100 years old, it is timber-clad and it is very spacious. There are small shops about 10 minutes' walk from the house and many shops of all sorts only 20 minutes' walking distance. There are regular buses to and from the centre of town, with a bus stop just outside our house.
My husband Brian is also a qualified English language tutor. He took his first Degree at Oxford University. For 24 years he was a diplomat - we served in Singapore, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Japan. Since retiring from the diplomatic service, Brian has been teaching English, finance and accountancy at colleges and university.
