ire-shankill(house2)175.jpgAccommodation, Facilities and Local Area
We have a fine three-bedroom family home in a sought-after residential enclave in the pretty village of Shankill. Our 80sqm property is bright and spacious and is very well presented with a modern kitchen/breakfast room, as well as the living room, three bedrooms, bathroom and south-facing conservatory which looks out onto our large back garden. Shankill village, often called the 'stepping stone to the Garden of Ireland', is located close to all amenities and within easy access to Dublin city centre and all major routes via the M50 motorway. It is only minutes from the DART train station(Dublin Area Rapid Transport) and has a very reliable bus service also. Shankill is a suburban village with a rural aspect and is located 2km from the Co. ire-shankill(view)175.jpgWicklow boundary and just 9km from Dun Laoghaire Ferryport. Features of this area include, the remains of the Ballycorous Lead mines with its 80foot high chimney and Carrickgolligan Hill, which offers stunning views of Dublin Bay and surrounding areas such as Killiney, Dalkey and Bray. Hill walking, golfing, horse riding, fishing, tennis and bowling are catered for in this area as well as walks on the beach, in all types of weather! Our village has a good selection of shops and an excellent pub and restaurant.
