Teaching Qualifications and Experience
2006-2007 Workshop organized by Università per stranieri di Perugia about teaching methods and European Framwork 2004 D.I.T.A.L.S. specialization to teach italian as foreign language - Università per stranieri di siena 2004 Degree in modern languages (German and English) by Università di Siena. 4 years as an Italian language teacher for the Italian Cultural Institute in Ankara, Turkey.

Hobbies and Interests
I like cooking and with my mother we can provide short courses on Italian cuisine. I love reading and travelling. In my home, you can find a lot of books, films and music in order to get more deeply involved in Italian lifestyle through art and culture as well as through the language.

Excursions and Local Attractions
Siena, Florence, Montalcino, Bagno Vignoni, Pienza, Saturnia, Sovana, Castiglion della Pescaia. I can also organize longer trips by train.

Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
Arcidosso is a charming village at the slopes of Mount Amiata in a hidden corner of famous Tuscany. Here you can relax among green chestnut and beech trees, taking a bit time for yourself and at the same time learning Italian language. You will be involved in a familiar and cosy environment with me and my family (mother and sister) having individual and personalized lessons and free time. You can visit nice small tipical villages in the sourrounding area, making walks in the woods, organize horse riding tours, taste good local wine and food and above all experience a real italian context sharing everydaylife with local inhabitant of our small village. If then you want to make trips in Tuscany we are not far away from famous touristic places like Florence, Siena, Pienza, Montalcino and his good wine. The sea side Grosseto and Castiglion della pescaia is just one hour with the car and the etruscan villages of Pitigliano Sorano Sovana as well. 

The mountain where I live is an ideal place for trekking, horse riding, and relax. Not far from here historical and cultural major towns like Siena (1 hour) Florence (2 hours)or small picturesque villages, near the see, on the mountain or in the countyside.

The student's room has a private bathroom.
