1999: Master in French as a foreign language. 1990: Master in History. 1987: Proficiency in English. 1993: University Diploma in Russian. 1990: Master 1 in Tourism.

Hobbies and Interests
Sports (ski, nordic walking, swimming), folk dances, languages, social life, children and education, activities in my church in Switzerland (protestant).

Excursions and Local Attractions
French Alps (Annecy, Chamonix...), Geneva & Switzerland, possibly Paris (3 h 1/2 by train). Annecy lake and nearby ski resorts.

Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
Our house is situated in a very small village located on the bank of Annecy lake, 5 minutes walk to the beautiful medieval castle of Menthon St Bernard. These are some of the excursions in the area: various walks in the mountains at any season - the lake (the purest of Europe) and its beaches (at only 2 kms far from our house) - old town Annecy, the ""french Venice"" (10 km)  - skiing resorts (30 km) - Mont-Blanc (1 hour) - Genève and Switzerland (45 mn) - Cycling around the lake, boat tours, etc. - Paris (3 h 1/2 by train).
