There are several options:  You may be interested in visiting the beautiful beaches of Costa da Caparica, or you may want to visit the historical city center (Cristo Rei, Cerca Palace, Convent of Capuchos... ), Or you may prefer to visit Lisbon. In Lisbon we have the St. George's Castle (Castelo de S. Jorge), Downtown (Baixa Pombalina),  Cristo Rei, Torre de Belem (Belem tower),Jeronimos monastery (Mosteiro dos Jeronimoa), Foundation Caloute Gulbenkian (Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, ancient art museum (Museu da Arte Antiga), contemporary art museum (Museu da Arte Comtemporanea) and  and many other things.

Facilities and Local Area
Almada is the sixth most populated city in portugal, about 101 500 inhabitants and  has a long coast to the west to the Atlantic Ocean. The Apartment is in a Central area in Almada. It is right next to the Metro and Bus. You can also travel to Lisbon (on the other side of Tejo) in typical boats called Cacilheiros. Almada has beautiful beaches (Costa da Caparica) and is located next to the Portuguese Capital - LISBOA. It is also surrounded by parks and nature, good restaurants, and a rich historic area (called Old Almada).
