International Students (non-EU)
Non-EU students require a STUDENT VISA to enter and work legally in the United Kingdom, granted by the nearest British Embassy. Our “UK Hotel Work Experience” programme offers paid hotel work and leads to the Cambridge Certificate in Work Experience or the Advanced Certificate in Work Experience. This ‘Study and Work’ format is known as a “sandwich course” and is recognised by the British Embassies for Visa purposes and is thus ideal for non-EU students. It is the best and quickest way to apply for and be granted a Student Visa. Do you need a Visa?
Bulgarian and Romanian citizens from January 2007 do NOT need a visa for the UK but must enrol on a study and work programme ( “sandwich course”) and register with the British Home Office by sending, on arrival at our UK school, a BR1 Form with either their passport or ID card. The registration is fairly straight forward and there is no charge but takes about three weeks to process. After the mandatory 4-week course, Bulgarian and Romanian citizens can usually work full-time for upto a year on this basis and also receive a certificate by a nationally recognised examining body. Programme Fee: £GB1270 (full programme)
