Durham is surrounded by luscious countryside and close to picturesque coastal areas, which can be contrasted with the beautiful and bustling city of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, just a 15 minute train ride away. It is great place from which to discover all the glorious sites the north of England has to offer. |
