The courses are divided between group courses (20/ 30 hrs/ wk), individual courses (6, 10,12, 20 hrs/ wk), mixed courses (group + ind.) and special courses as Italian + cooking or Italian + conversation. According to your needs and preferences, there is always a course available. Group courses have a great atmosphere and are very sociable, individual classes are more intense and provide faster learning, while mixed courses provide all the advantages of both courses.

We cover all levels from A1 to C2, Absolute Beginners, Elementary, Pre-intermediate, Intermediate, Pre-advanced, Advanced, following the Assessment Grid of the European Language Portfolio (ELP). Our flexible system allows us to customise any individual lesson according to each student's interest or professional background.

Our subjects cover a wide range of topics: Law, CILS training, Engineering, Architecture, Medicine, Tourism, Business, Italian Literature, Italian History, Italian Geography, Italian Art, Italian Cinema, Italian Culture and Politics, Italian Cuisine, Italian Music History and Opera.

At the end of a course each student receives a certificate from the school.

The majority of teaching materials are developed by school and are still being created, always in colour and well-illustrated and structured. These materials are always included in the price, so no seperate charges.

The method of Scuola Tricolore is based on the 'communicative method', which easily enables you to develop expressive skills along with written communication, and 'edutainment' (education + entertainment), which enables you to learn in a short-time with fun.

Scuola Tricolore offers a range of social and leisure activities; regular wine tasting, cooking courses, aperitivi, sailing trips, seminars, city walk, watching an Italian movies and much more. Some of these activities are for free whereas others aren't.

All types of accommodation are available through the school and have been personally selected. So if you look for a room in apartment, a family-stay, a B&B, Hotel or an independent apartment. We are able to offer you quality lodging, carefully selected at a reasonable price.
