We give out certificates and diplomas to our students. We also offer DELE preparation and test-taking in certain school locations.

We have designed our own curriculum materials based on the recommendations of El Instituto Cervantes. All of our school locations use the same curriculum to make travel amongst them seamless.

Our professors use a variety of teaching methods to best teach each and every student. We at ECELA realize that no two people learn in the same way, so lessons and teaching strategies are varied to teach all Spanish learners.

Four times a week the school organises activities and excursions, many activities are for free or to cover the transportation and entry fees. The activities are guided by our friendly and professional team.

During the week: City tours, cooking classes, visits to wineries, conversation club, Salsa classes, museums, picnics on the beach, beach volleyball, surf, Night City tours

Weekend excursions: Isla Negra, Hiking in la Campana, kayaking, La Serena, Santiago day trip, La Ligua, Mendoza (Argentina), fishing day

We have both a homestay program and a shared apartment program for our students.

A historically rich and modern city with plenty of things to explore. Specific highlights include: rafting, trekking and vineyard tours. Overnight weekend excursions include trips to the nearby Andes mountain range and visits to surrounding cities such as the resort community of Viña del Mar, the port town of Valparaiso (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) or the famous Isla Negra.
