Instituto Andalusí in Málaga Our school offers Spanish courses for people from different countries. We offer Intensive Courses for adults and juniors but also preparation courses for the DELE exam and business Spanish.

Our school opened in 2002 and is situated in a very quiet area near the sea and therefore it is possible to hold classes in the garden. In the school`s garden there is a swimming pool as well. Intensive Course
This course is recommendable for those who want to learn the language and culture in a fast and effective manner. The course consists of 30 lessons per week, 6 lessons daily from 8:30h – 14:55h, and starts every Monday the whole year. Courses for beginners start every second Monday.

Standard Course
This course is designed for participants who want to combine their Spanish studies with holidays. The course consists of 20 lessons per week, 4 lessons daily from 9:30h till 13:55h.

Preparation courses for Spanish diplomas DELE
(Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera)
These courses are specially designed for students who wish to take one of the DELE- exams (all levels). The Examinations are organized by the Instituto Cervantes. 25 lessons per week, 5 lessons daily, from 9.30h - 14.55h ( 4 lessons Standard + 1 lesson DELE).

Business Spanish
For professionals and students who require an understanding of spanish to communicate in the business world. 25 lessons per week, 5 lessons daily, from 9.30h - 14.55h. Intermediate or Advanced level required.

Standard Plus 1
This course is designed for participants who want to study the language in a group and the same time would like to have some private tuition for their professional or personal needs. The course consists of 25 lessons per week, 5 lessons daily from 9:30h – 14:55h (4 lessons Standard course and 1 lesson of private tuition).

Standard Plus 2
This course is like the one above but with 2 hours of private tuition. Therefore the course consists of 30 lessons per week, 6 lessons daily from 8:30 – 14:55 (4 lessons Standard course and 2 lessons of private tuition).

Individual lessons
This course is the most effective way of achieving goals in a limited amount of time. These classes are made to fit the individuals needs. The student may decide length, dates and number of classes.

Course Club 50+
We created this course for seniors especially those over the age of 50, who want to learn the basics of the Spanish language. Furthermore for those who want to get to know the Spanish culture with its traditions. The most of our students are 18 – 30 years old and want to learn Spanish as fast as possible for their studies. Therefore Instituto Andalusi created this course which focuses on the needs of elder people who are interested in learning Spanish for real conversations (for example eating in a restaurant). The lessons concentrate on the grammar, important vocabulary to understand the Spanish language and culture. The course programme consists of: interviews, role plays, watching movies, listening to music, activities outside of school.

Spanish Course for teenagers
Our Junior program in Malaga is available in easter, during the summer months (july - september) and during the autumn holidays for students between 13 and 16 years old. The course consists of 4 lessons Spanish in the morning, from 9.30h - 13.55h and in the afternoon the students can enjoy the different activities offered by the school. The school offers sport and cultural activities like:
- Playing beach-volley
- Going to the cinema
- Playing bowls
- Going to the Aqua Park
- Visiting the different monuments of Malaga, like the Alcazaba, Gibralfaro, Catedral, etc.
- Visiting the Picasso Museum
- Shopping afternoon in the city centre
- Paella or Barbecue at school
- Parties at school
Description of the course:
This course is designed for young people who want to learn Spanish in the mornings and enjoy different activities and excursions. The course consists of 20 lessons per week, 4 lessons daily from 9:30 till 13:55h.
During a two week course there are 6 afternoon activities and one full-day excursion included. Excursions are normally on Saturday or Sunday to the most important places in Andalusia: Granada, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda, Nerja, Marbella, etc.

Exercise Material, Work book

Instituto Andalusi offers a big number of courses for adults, which duration can vary. The courses consist of 4 or 6 lessons a day and students from all over the world, so you get to know other cultures, too. In the afternoon there is the possibility to visit museums or other interesting sights of Malaga, either with the school or by yourself.

Excursions and activities
The Instituto Andalusi offers a variety of activities, which focus on the Spanish language and culture, such as visits of museums, memorials and churches in Malaga. Moreover we are offering activities in the school building like cooking class of Paella or other Spanish specialities. At the beginning of the course (once in a month) our students are welcomed with a party and at the end of the course (once a month) they get a farewell party. It is also possible to rent cars, motor bikes and bicycles in the school.

Family
During your stay you live with a Spanish family either with half- or full-board, in a single or a double room.

Shared student apartment
You are going to share an apartment with other participants of our school. Students who live in the apartment are going to share a common area with a TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a laundry machine and generally a terrace or a balcony. In a holiday flat you have the option to book a single or a double room.

Private apartments
Studio: The studio offers a bedroom and a living room for 1-2 persons as well as a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, television. The studio is designed for people who wish to have more privacy.
Apartment with 1 bedroom: The private apartments are designed for 1-2 people and offers a living-room with a television, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom.
Apartment with 2 bedrooms: The private apartments are designed for 1- 4 people and offer a living-room with a television, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms.

The average distance of all our accommodations to the school is 5 to 25 minutes walking.

Villa with Pool
For students who prefer to stay in a quiet accommodation we recommend our beautiful villa with its spacious rooms. It is possible to book a single or a double room. In the villa you are going to share a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with TV, 2 bathrooms and various terraces with other students.
Moreover our villa offers a huge garden with a swimming pool.
Our villa is just a 1 minute walk away from the school.
Suite in the Villa:
A spacious suite can be rented in the villa with a big private bathroom, a fridge, TV, airconditioning, heater and own terrace. The suite is available for single or double occupancy.

Instituto Andalusí offers a range of excursions on the weekend, for example excursions to Cordoba, Granada, Seville and Morocco.
