The Dutch language is spoken in the Netherlands (Holland), Belgium, Suriname, Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, Saba, Sint Maarten, and Sint Eustatius. It is a mixture of Low German and German. In Belgium, the language is usually referred to as Flemish (Vlaams), one of the two official languages in the country, and is spoken in Flanders, the only part of the medieval French kingdom that is not part of modern day France.
