AUCKLAND (Avondale), North Island: My home is slightly west of the city and about a 20-30 minute bus or train trip to the centre. The apartment is a 1 minute walk to the train station and bus stop. There is everything you could need within 10 minutes walk - shops, a supermarket, parks, a swimming pool, a tennis court. The apartment has a large deck and a bedroom and bathroom on both storeys, as well as an open plan kitchen and living area. It is very sunny and has large windows that can be opened to let in the fresh air. The lookout is lovely offering beautiful sunsets and a view of the Waitakere Hills. CHRISTCHURCH, South Island: our home is situated on the Port Hills of Christchurch city and enjoys extensive north and westerly views over the city, the Canterbury Plains and the often snow-clad Southern Alps. We have three double bedrooms, guest bathroom and toilet, separate study with full computer and Internet facilities, modern well equipped kitchen, dining room and separate lounge. Outside, you can relax in a hammock, sit in a spa (hot tub) or admire the view from either of the two decks. GREYMOUTH, South Island: Bushtop is a Colonial Villa located on a sunny hillside overlooking the valley and Tasman Sea. We use solar power, drink fresh rainwater and grow organic vegetables. It is warm, comfortable and we eat well. Comfortable single bed with warm duvet. Built-in wardrobe. Full length mirror. Desk and lamp if required, but there is a separate study area. Nearest airport: Christchurch.
