Madeira Park, BC, Canada: We offer luxury ocean view accommodations in our beautiful geodesic home in a serene parklike setting. We have wonderful views of the harbour, and are surrounded by towering cedar trees, beautiful gardens, a natural stream and pond, resident deer, and often have eagles flying overhead. Our little paradise offers many fabulous hikes which give you views across the Malaspina Strait to Vancouver Island. Water activities in our area include kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and swimming. |
Apsley, Canada: Our country home is located outside of the friendly village of Apsley, Ontario, where you can meet many people and practice English. We are surrounded by rocks, lakes and trees, so we can enjoy everything nature has to offer. Our home offers the perfect environment to learn English quickly and have a Canadian adventure at the same time. Our teaching takes place in our downstairs classrooms. We offer a professional one-to-one environment for learning. |
Port Sydney, Canada: We live in a lakeside village fifteen minutes from a larger resort town renown for skiing and summer watersports. Our village is on the doorstep of Algonquin Provincial Park and we had the G8 at our town in 2010. Our home is entirely wood paneled and is directly above a major lake with pristine views and waterfalls. Our farm is stunningly beautiful and on a major Ontario river. Both of our properties have multiple cottages and are in a forest and on lakes.The 2 bedroom cottage is also available. |
North Vancouver, Canada: We are nicely situated on Vancouver's North Shore overlooking the City of Vancouver, Burrard Inlet, the Olympic Peninsula in the USA and Vancouver Island.
There are two bus-lines within a 5-7 minute walk from the house. |

Middle River, Nova Scotia, Canada: Our home is located in a rural setting on 9 acres of land. There are flower and vegetable gardens, a local swimming area at the river, and safe roadways for biking. The area is a 30 minute drive from the ocean and numerous sandy beaches. with warm water suitable for swimming. There is a village 20 minutes away with supplies and activities such as sailing and golfing. Our home has a large deck and two small outbuildings equipped for private reading or work. The house is a 150 year old farmhouse. |

Moser River (Halifax, Nova Scotia), Canada: If you love country life and quiet scenic surroundings, this is the place to learn English by the sea in Halifax, Nova Scotia. We live in a restored century home overlooking a river estuary that empties into the Atlantic Ocean. We currently have a work horse, several goats and chickens (so fresh eggs for breakfast!) A convenience store and post office are in the village, with a larger town about 15 minutes away. There are wonderful beaches nearby with lots of forest trails to explore. |
Mississauga, Canada: The house is within walking distance of shops and transit. We are in the city with all the benefits, but it looks like the country. Quiet neighbourhood, safe and friendly, a short bus ride to Toronto. Take day trips to Niagara Falls or other wonderful cities. A detached home with a huge backyard. The movie, computer and book library are available at the house. Interact with students from many other countries. Go for a walk in the park or swim at the club. I teach with a sense of humor.
