Where you can discover, enjoy and learn about Birmingham's history - Mercian Kings to the Industrial Revolution, chocolate, jewellery and custard! Home of Europe's largest Library, museums and galleries, Bullring shopping, Chinese Quarter and a Gay Village. Did you know we have a lot of canals? There are more canals in Birmingham than in Venice. Plus the local chocolate factory: Cadbury's World, the Tolkien Museum
(author of the Lord of the Rings) and William Shakespeare's home town. If you enjoy sports - plan your homestay around an Aston Villa Football match, Edgbaston Cricket match (Warwickshire Bears). There's also the historic Priory Tennis club.
Easy location for day trips to London, Shakespeare's Stratford and Warwickshire's castles, villages and towns.
