We offer foreign students One-to-One tuition at all levels, including university and business level. After working some twelve years with international companies in Brussels, where languages were a must, I have been working independently since 1987 and was joined by my partner in 1990. Together we have developed methods adapted to each person’s specific needs, enabling us to help students progress rapidly and meet deadlines. I teach French, English and Dutch whereas Bertrand teaches all scientific subjects, maths and French. Thanks to our commercial background we also teach accountancy, statistics, EDP and economics. Local customers include international companies established in Belgium. With dual nationality, I have been speaking English, French and Dutch ever since I was a child. Besides his native French, Bertrand is fluent in English, including technical English.

Accommodation, Facilities and Local Area
Attractive and spacious (135m²) house from the 1930's with, on the ground floor, a large living/dining room, a large sitting room overlooking the garden, a fully-equipped kitchen and a study. On the first floor, two bedrooms, a vast living room, a bathroom and a small library on the landing. Tastfully decorated, bringing out the best features of the period. In addition to participating in general family life and taking lessons on the ground floor, the student may use the first floor living room. We can accommodate a couple but a second student would be housed locally with friends. The house is situated in the French-speaking region of Belgium, about 50 km south of Brussels, near Charleroi, Mons, Namur and the French border. Apart from visits to the capital, we can also offer visits to Bruges, Antwerp, Ghent, the Ardennes, and the Belgian coast. Some of the local museums are also well worth a visit. Student's room 12m² with private living room (16m²). Can accommodate a couple. Non-smokers only.

Profil
Après avoir travaillé quelque douze ans dans un environnement international à Bruxelles où la connaissance des langues était une absolue nécessité, je suis devenue indépendente en 1987 avec l’enseignement privé comme activité principale. Mon associé s’est joint à moi en 1990 et ensemble nous avons développé des méthodes adaptées aux besoins spécifiques de chacun de nos étudiants, leur permettant de progresser très rapidement dans le délai imparti.
J’enseigne personnellement le français, l’anglais et le néerlandais tandis que Bertrand se charge de dispenser les cours scientifiques, les mathématiques et occasionnellement le français. Grâce à notre formation commerciale, nous enseignons également la comptabilité, les statistiques, l’informatique et l’économie. Parmi nos clients locaux, nous comptons diverses sociétés internationales établies en Belgique. De nationalité à la fois britannique et belge, je jongle avec l’anglais, le français et le néerlandais depuis mon plus jeune âge. Outre le français, sa langue maternelle, Bertrand s’exprime couramment en anglais, y compris l’anglais technique.

Excursions et attractions locales
Selon les saisons et la durée du séjour, nous suggérons des excursions vers Bruges, Bruxelles, Anvers, Gand, les Ardennes et la côte belge. Certains musées de notre région, tels que le Musée Royal de Mariemont et le Château de Seneffe, valent également la peine d’être visités et attirent chaque année bon nombre de touristes.
Logement, situation géographique
Agréable et spacieuse maison des années 1930 avec, au rez-de-chaussée, un grand salon/salle à manger, une pièce de séjour donnant sur le jardin, une cuisine équipée et un bureau. A l’étage, deux chambres, un vaste salon, une salle de bain et sur le palier, une petite bibliothèque. Décoration soignée rehaussant les éléments d’époque. Nos étudiants étrangers sont invités à participer à notre vie familiale et à suivre les cours au rez-de-chaussée. Ils disposent, par ailleurs, du salon de l’étage (16 m2) et d’une chambre (12 m2) à leur usage exclusif. Nous pouvons loger un couple ou deux membres d’une même famille, mais un deuxième étudiant serait logé à proximité, chez des amis. La maison est située dans la partie francophone de la Belgique à une cinquantaine de kilomètres au sud de Bruxelles, près de Charleroi, Mons, Namur et la frontière française. Nous sommes idéalement situés pour organiser des excursions vers différentes régions du pays selon les goûts de nos invités. La Belgique étant un petit pays, les distances sont rapidement couvertes.
