TEFL Diploma , Monkstown Language School, Dublin Certificate in Business Management. Diploma in Human Resources. Worked in the Technology Industry for 20 years and then 7 years teaching General English and Business English from home. I have taught English to French, Spanish, Italian and Japanese people.
Hobbies and Interests
golf, cooking, gardening, reading, walking, swimming, singing in a chorus, playing bridge, art, music, cinema, travel, meeting people, pubs and theatre and I have an interest in new technology. I have many friends who come for dinner and lunch regularly.
Excursions and Local Attractions
Walk to the sea, the woods and mountains. Nearby is the Library, village pubs, shops and restaurants. Horse Riding, sailing. DART train (30 mins) to city of Dublin for museums and art galleries, Cinema, Theatre pubs and restaurants. Killiney is a suburb of Dublin situated on the curve of Dublin Bay and between the mountains and the sea. It has wonderful views of Dublin and the Bay from Killiney Hill. The famous village of Dalkey is a 20 minute walk along the headland with spectacular views. You can run or walk on the beach just across the road from my house.
