Hauts-de-France, France - Our house was built in 1845, and we have converted the 2nd floor to serve as guest rooms, with a private bathroom and a lounge and study area between the 2 bedrooms. Our home is situated on a pedestrian street near the center of Saint Omer. The town dates to the 9th century and has a character mixing French Flanders and Artois (www.tourisme-saintomer.com). As we are in Pas de Calais, the crossroads of Europe, it is surrounded by a number of historic sites.
